Speak Up for Climate Action


As people of faith, we are called to speak up to protect our sacred home. In advance of creating a national climate strategy by the end of 2016, MPs are being encouraged to host townhalls across Canada this spring. Pledge to take part in the climate consultation hosted by your MP.

Severe Drought in Seven African Countries


People in seven difference countries across Africa are facing extreme drought that is causing food and water shortages. The United Church is joining Mission & Service partners ACT Alliance and Canadian Foodgrains Bank to respond to this crisis. Please donate today.

Partners Responding to Japan Earthquake


In response to the Japan earthquake the United Church has supported Mission & Service partners in Japan with a contribution of US$20,000 from our Emergency Response fund. Please continue to pray for the affected people and for partners on the ground.

Ecuador Earthquake Response


The United Church has contributed $20,000 to support relief and reconstruction in Ecuador. Your help is also needed to strengthen the response of the global ACT Alliance of churches and church-related aid organizations.Donations are gratefully accepted.
