Strong Reviews for Called to Be the Church!

Congregations that are using the Called to Be the Church congregational giving program kit have seen their givings rise and engagement increase. See how it can work for your church!

Watch the new Called to Be the Church video on YouTube or download it, try out some of the suggestions, and share it with your congregation!

Mission & Service Giving Update

Thank you for giving so generously for Mission & Service in 2015! The congregational giving transfer deadline was January 29, 2016—we thank you for transferring your 2015 gifts in time. The final report on 2015 Mission & Service giving will be shared with pastoral charges and posted online at the end of February.

A new Mission & Service congregational giving report/transfer form will be launched in 2016. It allows for multipoint charges to report on giving at the congregational level. The new form includes a message of thanks for your pastoral charge, a summary of giving for the year, and a blank transfer form.

Whitehorse United Church is one of these. Trustee Fred Smith says, “Our church was fortunate to receive a generous bequest. We decided to invest through the Foundation. Despite the ups and downs of the market, our investment continues to provide a disbursement.”
