We Are #NotAlone

For Lent, we’re inviting people to share their #NotAlone story! That is a story of a time when you were reminded you were “not alone,” whether through a connection with God, the support of friends and loved ones, or the solidarity of church and community. You can share your #NotAlone story in writing on the United ChurchFacebook page or Twitter stream, through pictures onInstagram, or in video on YouTube!

Watch Moderator Jordan Cantwell’s video invitation and find out more about how to participate. Your #NotAlone videos will be shared on The United Church of Canada YouTube channel, Facebook page, and other social media platforms during Lent, which runs from February 10 - March 26, 2016.

Take a look at some #NotAlone stories others have shared on our YouTube channel and create your own! We are #NotAlone!

With Us Always

This Lent, explore how our faith journey can be energized through popular culture through the new collection of reflections, With Us Always: Daily Devotions Framed by the MoviesOrder your copy in print or as an ebook

"Imagine if the credits at the end of movies provided questions to ponder, prayers to consider, and songs to celebrate! With Us Always: Daily Devotions Framed by the Movies does just that. This book takes an accessible life text - a movie scene or YouTube video - and a familiar biblical text, then uses questions, prayers, and songs to help us consider the connections in our spiritual life. Suddenly, the Lenten exploration becomes a unique and creative journey, one that remains with us long after the credits." -Rev. John Pentland
