You are Invited!
On Sunday, May 29, we will celebrate the ministries of personnel who are retiring from active ordered ministry, and people who are beginning new ministries, including those being ordained, and those being admitted into the Order of Ministry in The United Church of Canada.
The Celebration of Ministry Service is a highlight of the church year, and we are delighted to hold this service in this beautiful outdoor setting, part of Edmonton’s scenic river valley.
Pot-Luck Picnic Lunch:
After the service, you are invited to join us for a Pot-Luck Picnic Lunch at the picnic site just outside the Heritage Amphitheatre. Please bring your lawn chair, dishes and cutlery, and food to share. Beverages will be provided. Getting There:
Hawrelak Park can be accessed from Groat Road, south of the Groat Bridge. Passengers may be dropped off at the amphitheatre gate, and parking is located in the lot just north of the amphitheatre, as well as around the park. Alternate Venue:
