Dates: May 7 to May 23.
Times: Monday to Friday - 8a.m. to 8p.m.
Saturdays - 9a.m. to 2p.m.
The annual CBC/Calgary Reads Book Sale: May 26 & May 27
This year, the CBC/Calgary Reads Book Sale will be held at a new location:
Triwood Arena
2244 Chicoutimi Drive, N.W. (One block west of 19th St. at Northmount Dr. NW)
Saturday May 26, 2007 8:30a.m. - 4:00p.m.
Sunday May 27, 2007 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
You can be sure that 100 per cent of all proceeds go to helping youth in our city who struggle with literacy. This includes recruiting, screening and training tutors. Each year, the demand for skilled tutors increases dramatically to help kids with literacy. And each year, the number of kids requiring help out- numbers available tutors.
